We are RC. See the start and Anomaly blowup a head sail.
Excellently done presentation. Thank you. You only use one sheet! That's a new look for me. What about jybing...?
Fantastic
Too much heel methinks
Thomas Magnum, TC, Rick, and Higgins are nearby in case of pirates.
Wow. Found this video. As much as I hate to admit it. I am the one eating the cheese nacho!
Nice porno music 😖
Really? 'Bend the mast to remove draft at the upper 2/3 of the sail'???
yes "....just forgetting for a minute this is a training video" as they Don't even show HOW to rig the pole, or the lines, or the spinnaker in the bag to the boat??- pro's?- definately, as they DON'T know how to teach, they can DO it fine, though!!
i love the name of this boat
loving the graphics from this time. state of the art
smells good the 80's...
Whoa! Hellllooo 1981!!!
OMG this is hilarious.
Oh man, don't tie the reef ties round the boom !!!! Tie them round the foot !!!
The main has a closed foot, there is no way to avoid tying it to the boom.
Not sure the jib should be released so soon - it flops and makes it harder to clear as the boat turns through the wind. And what' s with the music?! Dialogue is ok, but nobody' s dancing.
Hahaha "the trick is to douse the spinnacker before the wind gets too strong"
'86 was awesome!
good video, but wth is wrong with that mainsail at 2:16 ? the luff is not tentioned at all, looks like one of the gliders is stuck?
Wrong,
7:33 coils halyard counter clockwise......fail
C&C Yachts 34 LEONA KAI with nice sheet trimer & bowman..Best greatings from C&C 34 LEONIS (Germany)
"Stuff it down the hatch and you're done" Wow, a magic hatch!
Your trolling is subpar
It's spelled "jibing" not "jibbing." DOH!
the sheet! What? the sheet! ..ah oh ok ..the SHEET! spaceballs film
Watchin' this I had the title theme of Miami Vice echoing in my ears - oh, lovely 80's-90's !
Looks like early 80s. extra gay
I bet the one in white shorts has a landing strip
Easy without a jib to worry about as well.
I like this video. I crew on a boat like that. Vang was not however used as a preventor, that was separate. My skipper advocated not leaving the winch handle in the winch while tacking, as that could get in the way while hauling in the jib sheet. The one releasing the lazy jib sheet would run across with the winch handle to tighten up and tension the working sheet to get the telltales flying. We coordinated well in a tight cockpit. He hated losing a winch handle overboard. Sure it was '80s and '90's type sailing but good fun to get adrenaline flowing in a tight race.
porn
Life jackets?
And that's how a plumbus is made
The wench grinding the winch has Terrible technique and has no control but she is cute.... If she is obedient she would be worth having on board
OK, you can say "Jibing", (one b.)
No. The small foresail is called a jib. The acting of turn the stern of the boat through there wind is called gybing.
Not "Jibbing", Gybing.
Early 80's!!
seems like a hydraulic cylinder would make sailing much easier. All the ropes and stuff seem to be excessive , I am talking on the main sail but I guess this is the way it has been done for years.
Hydraulic cylinder would be very very heavy, expensive, and could break down easily. and no cylinder I know of would have nearly the stroke length. lines are just cheaper, easier, and come in any length you need for any boat.
The 80's are back!
Thank you
Radical!!
Nice Vid Stu.. I'm taking notes as we just might signup for the spinnaker class in the in the upcoming Wed night racing series :-)
Talks about critical timiing, coordination, etc...yet fails to demo the helmsman's commands during tack or jibe. "Ready to come about", "Hard a lee," "Jibe-O !" etc.. Might add yet another warning about swinging 90s mullets and how to avoid them...
Oh, the early 90's. LMAO
Very cool video. Love the stache :)
French Braids, high waisted shorts with skinny belts - I'm thinking 80s :)
+Disgruntled Elf, Clothes and hair-styles might change, but a good looking woman is always good lookin'
90's? I was thinking more 80's....
Richard Wells im thinking on the cusp. Like 1990-1991
Miami Vice
Haha, she just fired it down the hatch. The sail elves will sort it out below deck, I guess, lol.
"Just stuff it down the hatch and your done!" - Said no competent crew ever.
Is this boat a Taylor Somo 27?
+Jaime Díaz I´m sure it´s a "Baltic 33"?!
+Christian Buschfort Thankyou very much. It's a very nice boat very similar to Taylor SOMO (a 80's version made in Spain in different lengths )
+Christian Buschfort I love this back mirror on the boat, sometimes more beautiful that swimming platforms.
+Jaime Díaz It's a C&C 34.. It says so on the description...
Whos this after guy fella? Whats his name?
